At Tenuta Luigina, every bottle begins in our vineyards—nurtured by hand and guided by nature. As a boutique winery, we produce around 15,000 bottles per year, with some labels made in just a few hundred bottles — making each wine a rare and true expression of our land.
Guided by winemaker Ettore Biraghi, internationally recognised by Gault & Millau as Rookie of the Year in 2017 and active in both Ticino and California, our wines reflect a dialogue between tradition and innovation, and between two distinct wine cultures. Every bottle is shaped with careful craftsmanship, patience, and a deep respect for place.

La Dama Bianca
This elegant wine reveals a delicate pale straw-yellow hue and a refined bouquet, highlighted by subtle aromas of white flowers. On the palate, it is smooth and savory, with a beautifully balanced acidity that lends length and freshness to the finish.

Millepetali
This golden-straw wine displays a brilliant hue with golden reflections. Its bouquet is rich and layered, offering an elegant complexity that ranges from notes of exotic fruits to hints of hay and lavender. On the palate, it is smooth and refined, supported by vibrant acidity. Though dry, it delivers a velvety sweetness and a remarkably long, lingering finish.

La Dama Rossa
An effortlessly enjoyable wine, offering everyday drinkability with surprising elegance. It’s simple, but never ordinary — versatile, fresh, and delightfully approachable. In the glass, it shows a brilliant ruby red color and opens with inviting aromas of fresh red berries. On the palate, it is warm and smooth, balanced by lively acidity and a soft finish.

Gemma dell’Est
This wine offers an elegant and intense bouquet, marked by delicate notes of spice and fruit. On the palate, the tannins are soft and velvety, perfectly balanced by a lively acidity. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a lasting impression of finesse and structure.

Aging: Aged for 30 months in oak barriques for exceptional depth and maturity
Ronco dei Profeti
This wine displays a deep, intense ruby red color in the glass. On the nose, it releases rich aromas of ripe fruit intertwined with hints of dark chocolate and coffee. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with lively yet elegant tannins. A concentrated and powerful expression of Merlot.

Ronco delle Noci
In the glass, this wine reveals a beautiful, vibrant ruby red color. The nose is rich and expressive, offering aromas of ripe fruit and warm spices, finishing with elegant balsamic notes. On the palate, it is refined and well-balanced, with smooth, well-integrated tannins. A wine of great body and structure, showcasing depth and sophistication.

AMPHORA
The Amphora Project began in 2020, born from a desire to slow down and listen more closely to our wines. What started as an exploration soon became a philosophy — a conscious return to patience, material, and time. We were the first winery in Ticino to experiment with amphora winemaking, embracing this ancient technique to enhance purity, texture, and the true expression of the grape. At Tenuta Luigina, amphorae are not a trend — they are a return to what matters. We did not choose clay to follow fashion, but to honour time, land, and tradition. In a world driven by speed and novelty, we chose a slower path — one that allows the wine to find its own voice. Working with amphorae is a dialogue between ancient practice and modern understanding. Each day of maceration deepens the conversation between grape and vessel, instinct and knowledge. The result is a wine that does not seek attention, yet remains — structured, pure, complex, and quietly memorable. This is not innovation for its own sake. It is patience, respect, and memory, shaped by hand and guided by experience — carried from the amphora to the glass.
