In Valtellina, Luigina is born — a strong, generous woman whose love for the land and family left a lasting legacy. For her, farming was an act of daily care, a true passion she passed on to her children, including Fabio Bruni.
Where a Dream Took Root
Driven by a quiet yet powerful dream, Fabio purchases a piece of land in Vacallo, Ticino. It’s a special place: terraced, sun-kissed, and naturally suited to viticulture. With the help of his friend Luigi, he begins to cultivate his first vineyard — turning vision into reality.

A chance meeting with Ettore Biraghi — a young winemaker and agronomist — marks a turning point. Ettore brings with him deep expertise and a natural bond with the land. Tenuta Agricola Luigina is born: a heartfelt tribute to a beloved mother, and a commitment to craft wines rooted in memory, care, and authenticity.

We are proud to work in the unique landscape of Ticino, where every vineyard has its own voice. Each terroir gives life to a wine with distinct character, and each blend reveals depth and personality. Our task is to respect this diversity and bring out its full potential.
The Art of Aging
We carefully age our wines in selected French oak barriques and were proud to be the first in Ticino to introduce terracotta anfora. This blend of tradition and innovation allows our wines to develop unique complexity, and a true expression of our terroir.
