Refined. Distinctive. Rooted in Terroir.

Gemma dell’Est is a Merlot of strong varietal character, deeply shaped by the unique terroir of Vacallo.
Vinification begins with a full-berry maceration in terracotta amphorae for four months, with gentle manual punching-down.
The grapes, harvested exclusively by hand, are then destemmed and softly pressed.
Fermentation—both alcoholic and malolactic—takes place in stainless steel vats, preserving purity and balance.

The wine is aged for 30 months in a mix of new and second-use French oak barriques, allowing it to gain elegance, depth, and a well-integrated structure.

In the glass, it offers an intense, elegant bouquet, with delicate notes of spice and fruit.
On the palate, the tannins are soft and velvety, supported by a balanced acidity that leads into a long, persistent finish.

A wine of precision and poise—Gemma dell’Est is a true expression of place, crafted with patience and respect.
